Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not create with Effect Farm, how we moderate content, how to report a video, and what happens when the rules are broken.
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Effect Farm ("we", "us") makes AI videos from a photo and a motion video that you upload. This policy applies to everything you upload to Effect Farm and every video generated through it. By using Effect Farm you agree to follow it. It works together with our Terms of Service.
1. What this policy covers
- Your uploads: photos and motion videos.
- Generated videos: every AI video made with Effect Farm, including free previews.
- Effect Farm has no free-text prompt box. You cannot type instructions for the AI.
2. Prohibited content
You must not upload or generate any of the following six categories:
- Pornography / NSFW: nudity, sexual acts or sexually suggestive content.
- Violence / gore: graphic violence, injury, blood, or content that glorifies harm.
- Hate speech: content that attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.
- Child-unsafe content: any content involving a person under 18, and any sexual content involving minors (CSAM). We report CSAM to the authorities.
- Deepfakes / impersonation: videos of a real person without their explicit permission; videos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures; any video meant to deceive people into thinking a real person did or said something.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: motion videos, music, characters, logos or footage you do not own or have no right to use.
2.1 Zero tolerance
We remove the content, permanently ban the account and, where the law requires, report to the authorities for:
- sexual content involving minors (CSAM);
- non-consensual sexual or intimate deepfakes of a real person;
- content that promotes terrorism or mass violence.
2.2 Other prohibited conduct
- Uploading a photo of someone else without their permission.
- Using generated videos to harass, bully, defraud or mislead people.
- Passing off a generated video as real footage. Label AI videos as AI content when you post them.
- Trying to get around our safety checks, for example by editing an image to avoid detection.
- Automated or bulk use of the service.
3. How we moderate content
3.1 Automated checks (every generation)
- Before generation: every uploaded photo is scanned by an automated NSFW classifier (SeeAPI NSFW Filter). Every uploaded motion video is scanned on a sample of its frames (SeeAPI Video NSFW Filter).
- After generation, before you see it: every generated video is scanned by the same video classifier.
- If a check flags the content, we stop: nothing is generated, or the generated video is deleted. Any credit used is refunded automatically.
- If the safety check cannot run, we do not generate the video ("fail closed"), and any credit used is refunded.
- The AI model providers we use (Seedance 2.0 Mini via SeeAPI, Kling 2.6 Motion Control via WaveSpeed) apply their own safety filters as well.
- Every check and its result is logged.
3.2 Consent check
Before each generation, you must confirm that you are 18 or older, that the person in the photo is you or has given you permission, that the photo does not show a celebrity or a minor, and that you have the right to use the motion video. We store the time and IP address of this confirmation.
3.3 Human review
We review flagged results from the moderation log and every user report by hand.
3.4 No public gallery
Generated videos are private. Only the account that made a video can see it. Sample videos on our pages are made by us from AI-generated people.
4. How to report a video
Report any video that uses your likeness without permission or breaks this policy:
- Report page: effectfarm.com/report (what to include)
- Email: support@effectfarm.com
Reports are confidential. False or abusive reports may be ignored.
5. What happens after a report
- We confirm receipt and review every report within 48 hours.
- Reports about minors or sexual deepfakes are handled first.
- If the content breaks this policy, we remove it and take one of the actions below.
6. Enforcement actions
| Action | When |
|---|---|
| Content removal | Any confirmed violation |
| Warning | First minor violation |
| Account suspension | Serious or repeated violations |
| Permanent ban, unused credits forfeited | Zero-tolerance violations (section 2.1) or repeated serious violations |
| Report to authorities | CSAM and other content we are legally required to report |
7. Appeals
If you think we made a mistake, email support@effectfarm.com within 14 days of our decision. A different review of the decision is completed within 10 business days.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
