Best AI Dance Generators From a Photo (2026)

Six AI dance generators that turn a photo into a dancing video, compared on input, free plan, price, subscription and watermark. Updated October 2026.

Updated October 5, 2026. We make Effect Farm, one of the tools below. We checked every other tool on its own website on October 4–5, 2026, and we link the pages we used at the end. Prices change often, so check the tool's site before you pay.

Quick answer

  • You want your photo to copy a dance clip you already have, and you do not want a subscription: Effect Farm. Upload one photo and one dance clip, pay per video.
  • You want to play every day for free and a watermark is fine: Viggle. The free plan gives 5 videos a day after you sign up.
  • You want the longest reference clips and a big creative suite: Kling AI Motion Control. It takes dance references from 3 to 30 seconds.
  • You already pay for Higgsfield: use its Genjutsu effect. It is part of the Higgsfield plans.
  • You want ready-made dance templates and other AI video tools in one place: Pollo AI.
  • You want a free tool with preset dances for a quick meme: Vidnoz.

How we compared them

All six tools take a photo of a person (or a character) and make a video of it dancing. We looked at five things that matter most for this job:

  1. Input: can you use your own dance video, or only the tool's templates?
  2. Free option: what you can make without paying, and whether it has a watermark.
  3. Price: the lowest paid option and whether it needs a subscription.
  4. Output: length and quality, where the tool states them.
  5. Sign-up: whether you need an account.

We did not score or rank the tools by quality. Results depend a lot on your photo and your dance clip, so we describe what each tool is good for.

Effect Farm

Best for: making a photo copy a specific dance clip, paying only for the videos you make.

You upload one photo and one dance or motion clip (MP4 or MOV, 3–10 seconds are used). A few minutes later you get a video of the person in the photo doing the same moves. HD videos use Seedance 2.0 Mini. The free preview uses Kling 2.6 Motion Control.

  • Price: one-time credit packs. 1 video $8.99, 5 videos $34.99, 15 videos $89.99 (launch prices until October 31, 2026; regular $9.99, $39.99 and $99.99). Credits never expire.
  • Free: one preview per account, standard quality with a watermark, view only.
  • Good: no subscription; failed videos are refunded automatically; every upload and result passes an automated safety check; works in the browser.
  • Not so good: one effect type (motion transfer) for now; videos are up to 10 seconds at 720p; the free preview cannot be downloaded.

Viggle

Best for: daily free play with templates and your own clips.

In Viggle's Mix tool you choose a trending template or upload your own motion clip, then add an image. Viggle says the character in your image then does the same motion.

  • Price: Pro $9.99/month (80 credits), Live $19.99/month (200 credits), Max $79.99/month (800 credits); yearly billing is 20% less. Seedance is only on Live and Max.
  • Free: 5 videos a day after you sign up, with a watermark.
  • Good: large template library; a free plan you can use every day.
  • Not so good: paid features need a subscription; Viggle says purchased credits can only be used while you are subscribed.

Kling AI Motion Control

Best for: long dance references and creators who also want a full AI video suite.

Upload a photo or a humanlike character, then pick a move from the Motion Library or add your own dance reference video. Kling says reference videos can run from 3 to 30 seconds, and that Kling VIDEO 3.0 Motion Control keeps the face stable through spins.

  • Price: subscription and credit plans on kling.ai. The plan page did not load when we checked, so we do not list numbers here.
  • Good: the longest reference clips of the tools here; three ways to make a dance video (follow a dance, dance between two poses, replace the dancer in a video).
  • Not so good: many options, so it takes longer to learn than a single-purpose tool.

Higgsfield Genjutsu

Best for: people who already use Higgsfield.

Genjutsu is Higgsfield's motion effect behind the "copy the moves" trend. It is available inside Higgsfield's plans, next to other models such as Kling 2.6 Motion Control.

  • Price: plans from US$19/month; larger plans cost less per month when billed yearly.
  • Free: a free plan is listed, and paid plans include some free Genjutsu generations.
  • Good: many models and effects in one subscription.
  • Not so good: you need a subscription for regular use.

Pollo AI

Best for: ready-made dance templates plus other AI video tools.

Upload an image, then choose a dance template, upload your own, or record one.

  • Price: with yearly billing, Lite is $12/month (400 credits), Pro $14.50/month (800 credits) and Ultra $99/month (5,000 credits).
  • Free: the free plan gives 20 credits.
  • Good: many dance styles and templates; a large set of other AI video and image tools.
  • Not so good: paid use is a subscription.

Vidnoz

Best for: quick, free dance memes from a photo.

Upload a photo with a clear face (or use a sample) and choose a dance motion.

  • Price: paid plans remove the watermark; see vidnoz.com for current prices.
  • Free: 30 credits a day, with a Vidnoz watermark.
  • Good: free to start; simple flow.
  • Not so good: focused on preset motions; the free plan has a watermark.

How to choose

  • You have a specific dance clip: pick a tool that accepts your own video (Effect Farm, Viggle Mix, Kling Motion Control, Pollo AI).
  • You will make one or two videos: a pay-per-video tool costs less than a monthly plan.
  • You will make videos every week: a subscription (Viggle, Pollo AI, Higgsfield) can cost less per video.
  • Photo tips for every tool: one person, full body, facing the camera, good light. Dance clips work best with one dancer, a still camera and the whole body in frame.

FAQ

Can I make my photo dance for free? Yes, with limits. Viggle gives 5 free videos a day, Vidnoz gives 30 free credits a day, Pollo AI's free plan gives 20 credits, and Effect Farm gives one free preview per account. Free results usually have a watermark.
